Meet GFSS' New Executive Director, Marcus Primavera, MBA-HCA!
A Message from Your New Executive Director:
"Good Family Support Services, a human services agency that provides in-home care and support for individuals with disabilities and complex needs, entrusted me as their Executive Director in March 2024.
With over 15 years of experience in the human services and behavioral health sectors, I bring a wealth of knowledge, skills, and passion to this role. I hold an MBA degree from Northeastern University, specializing in Healthcare Administration, and I am skilled in strategic planning, leadership, business development, financial management, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder relations.
Prior to joining Good Family Support Services, I served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at VNA-Community Services, Inc., where I promoted the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and enhanced the effectiveness and sustainability of its critical programs. I also successfully oversaw service delivery, growth, and quality management for several nationally recognized agencies, such as Sevita Health, CareGivers America, and America's Support Coordination and Management. I have worked with diverse populations and programs, including Philadelphia-based programs serving at-risk youth, addiction counseling, community-based mental health, and supported employment.
During my AmeriCorps VISTA service year I coordinated the resettlement of refugee youth for the International Rescue Committee; I'm also a proud United States Navy Veteran.
I am passionate about improving the lives and outcomes of the people GFSS, and the former agencies I was honored to work for, are tasked to serve. I am committed to building and maintaining strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including Pennsylvania's current and new Community Health Choices Managed Care Organizations by focusing on quality management innovations, embracing new technology, committing to improved data aggregation and transparency, and intensive participant wellness initiatives, both internally and in union with our MCO partners."
